Peace in the Middle East

The Promise
Just before Jesus was crucified, he made a promise to his followers. He told them that He was leaving earth to prepare a place for them in Heaven. “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again, and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.” The promise is for believers throughout the ages. He has not abandoned us; He came for the first time riding a lowly donkey to face the cross. He will return the second time, riding a majestic white stallion, to put down the rebellion. No one knows when that time will come, but we do know what world conditions will look like before His return.
Preparation for disaster
Before He left, Jesus told His disciples that a world at war would precede His second coming. (Mt. 24:6) Today, preparations for war are being made on all continents. The escalation is reminiscent of the military buildup prior to World War II. The difference between the two periods is Israel's restoration in 1948, which opened the door to end-time events. All major world affairs happening today are related to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. In the not-too-distant future, a great army made up of many nations will descend on the tiny country of Israel to steal its riches and destroy its culture. It will take place when Israel seems to be at peace with its neighbors, “And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates.”(Eze 38:11,12)
The Result
The gathering army will flex its muscles and push south. “Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.” (Ezel 38) This great company of invaders will include Persha (Iran) and the so-called new friends of Israel. (The Abraham Accord) nations. It will be at a time of peace in the Middle East, and all of Israel's neighbors will be at peace with each other. The invasion will be a decisive failure at the hands of God, “And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.” (Ezel 38:22) God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone. He will do the same to this company of Godless aggressors.
Conclusion
Could the current global unrest suggest that this event may occur soon? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure: it will happen sooner or later. If Iran submits to the US demands, the Middle East will be at peace for the first time since Israel was restored in 1948. It sets the stage for the Ezekiel prophecy to come to pass. God will always stand with Israel in times of need. If you are a Jew hater, you are on the wrong side. God is still dealing with the Jews and will ultimately change their hearts toward him. If you are a Christian, your heart has been changed. “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. :(Luke 21:28)
