Male and Female Created He Them

Male and Female Created He Them

Biblical Creation and Intent

God is the Creator and Governor of multiple worlds! The Bible term "Host of Heaven" refers to the various beings He governs. We are given only a peek into these mysterious worlds, but it is enough to recognize that the infinite number of beings mentioned in scripture are created, not born. “Ye come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.”  They are free moral agents knowing right from wrong. Some look human, and others are strange and beyond description.

God was pleased with His new Creation

When God decided to create a new and unique class of people in His image, He created Adam using earthly material. “And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness:  So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” Adam and Eve were created, not born. God blessed them and gave them a commandment. “God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” When God finished His creation on the sixth day, He declared it was very good. “And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.” (No mistakes)

Reproduction would be the Source of Growth

God's intent for the earth was to produce a nation in his likeness to fellowship with Him for an eternity; they would be free moral agents, knowing right from wrong, and they would multiply by reproduction. The animal kingdom would reproduce in like manner. This simply means that if a chicken lays an egg without a rooster, the egg will not produce a chick. It takes a male and a female to create a baby. Adam and Eve were encouraged to have many babies to grow and populate the earth for the glory of God. “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the Earth.”

 Adam declares Eve Equal

Although God created Adam from the clay of the earth, He created Eve from Adam's rib. God created Eve for two reasons: to be Adam's lifelong companion, and to make babies. Adam would consider Eve equal to him in every way because she was part of him. “And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore, shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”

Perverting God's Way

Today’s culture will not accept God's way; they will argue that there are six genders, four of which do not produce babies. Left up to these four genders, humankind would cease to exist. This perverse mindset has historically destroyed generations. Notably, the adult generation that left Egypt during the Exodus. After crossing the Red Sea, 3 million Jews set out to cross the Sinai desert. It would take them 2 years to reach the Promised Land.  But because of their perverted desire to worship anything but God, they would not be allowed to enter the land God had given them. They would be forced to wander in the desert for 38 more years.

Retribution

Why would God do such a thing? The answer is found in Romans (Ro. 1:23-36): They knew about him all right, but they wouldn’t admit it or worship him or even thank him for all his daily care.” As a result, their foolish minds grew dark and confused.”  “So, God let them go ahead into every sort of sex sin, and do whatever they wanted to—yes, vile and sinful things with each other’s bodies.”  “Women turned against God’s natural plan for them and indulged in sexual sin with each other.   And the men, instead of having normal sex relationships with women, burned with lust for each other.” This kind of behavior will always require retribution from heaven.  “Male and Female created He them.”
